Advice to parents
What equipment does my child need?
Ski, ski boots, sunglasses, hat and ski suit.
Should I bring ski poles?
Learning to ski with poles starts from the first star level. Children between the Piou-Piou level and the flocon level do not need ski poles.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
Wearing a helmet is not mandatory but strongly recommended.
What can my child do after the Gold Star level?
After the Gold Star level, we provide the esf Club lessons to train for competition or Team Rider to discover different styles of riding.
Do I have to go to the esf office before the lessons start?
If your child is registered for the "Jardin des Piou-Piou" and you have not received his/her course card at home, you will have to come and collect it at our esf Chalet, otherwise you will have to present the course e-card that you received by email, following your booking or on the "Myesf" application.
Do you offer childcare for lunch?
We do not offer a childcare option for lunch. However, you can contact "La Maison de l'Enfant" that can provide a lunch supervision for children up to 6 years old. The esf can accompany children and pick them up if they are registered for full day lessons.
